How to layer Silk Flowers Instructions!

Bought this stem each for 99c from downtown los angeles!

Remove all layers and plastic wires! Place them back and hand sew!

After sewing, apply hot glue between the petals(close to the center stitch)! This will hold the shape better!

Add a rhine stone and your silk flower is ready. I attach mine on Alligator Clip! The rhine stone is a big 22mm!

Button snap clip

Attaching Button on a snap clip

There are two ways to attach a button on a snap clip.

1. The first method is:

The pressing button comes with the top, bottom and a white container to press them together. Remove the metal hooks from the bottom button. Insert the metal hook thru one and two holes(refer the picture). Put the bottom button on top of the clip. By using the pilers make them flat. Then follow as per the instructions given in the button package, add fabric and snap both the buttons together.

If you are a dork like me, so excited and already made all your buttons before inserting them in snap clips, then this is for you

Keep everything ready. the button, 50 mm snap clip with a hole on top, long nose plier, e 6000, and a needle n thread.

This is how the back of the button looks. You can see the metal hooks are already pointy. By using the plier, make it little slant so it stays on the same height as the edges.

I am also using E6000 on the holes so the hooks will stay in place.

Insert the needle thru the hole of the snapclip and secure it tightly.

Use e6000 wherever the clip comes into contact with the button.

Let it dry for 36 hours. Boutique Snapclip is ready.

I am not an expert. May be this is not the correct method. I am explaining that there are many possibilities in making right out of wrong things. Hope u enjoyed the tuts.

Flower and Ribbon tied Kufi

Keep the kufi, flower and the ribbon ready. You dont have to precut the ribbon.

As u see, there are 4 wide holes on the beanie. Use the second hole for weaving the ribbon. Also i am starting from the front side of the beanie focusing on the middle.

Ribbon goes in and out thru the holes.

Use an alligator clip, to mark the back end of the holes.

Beanie back side.

Beanie front side.

There are two ways to attach a flower.

1. Flower on a clip..So it can removed any time.

2. Flower on the ribbon. It is also easy to remove and interchangeable on another beanie. And if the flower is heavy, it will not sag from the ribbon.

i am using the second option here.

How to make candy clippie

Things needed: Red and white 3/8 grosgrain ribbon:

Red - 3 strips - 2 inches

White - 2 strips - 2 inches

Heat seal the ends.

Place them close to each other.

Cut a 2 inch white and glue it on the center(as shown)

Another easy way is to place the white and glue the strips on top.

Complete all the 5 strips.

Glue on each and every strip as shown in the picture

Front of the candy.

Candy tails:

2.25 inches X 2 red 3/8 grosgrain

Cut the ends in V shape and heat seal the ends.

Fold as shown and apply glue in between.

Repeat.

Using hot glue, place one tail in the corner of the candy.

Continue for the second one.

Finished Candy Clippie!!

How to make Infant hair clippie

Things needed:

3/8 Grosgrain ribbon, Alligator clip, hot glue and your hands.

Start:

1.Cut three strips of 3/8 inch ribbon 4.5 inches 4 inches and 1 inch long and heatseal the ends.

2.Line your alligator clip using the 4.5inch strip.(partial takes 4.5 inches and fully lined takes 7 inches ribbon).

3.Take the 4 inch strip glue the ends together and make it like a circle. Then press the center and glue inbetween the ribbon.Now it looks like a tie bow.

4. Glue the tie bow on top of the alligator clip.

5. Use the third 1 inch ribbon and tie them as a center.

Now your own infant bow is ready!For purchasing ribbons(here i go!) please visit my ebay store.

Tutu hair bow

This is my new tutu bow.
Now tutorial:
things you need tulle and 3/8" grosgrain plus alligator clip
first let us make the tulle bow

1.Cut the tulle in rectangular strips(total 6 + 6 strips, we are making double layered) 1.5" x 5.5"

2.keep 6 strips seperate. we will start that after we finish the first one.

3.hold the center of the strip and start gathering one by one firmly(only six strips). use the thread and tighten them.now fluff it.

I got this mega size roll of thread for 10 cents in down town LA. i was bargaining for 5 cents( believe me i am not kidding, lol).

4.Do the same for second one(the next six strips). they will look like a pom pom now. keep an eye on the center knot.
tulle bows are ready.
Now we have to make the wings.It is a 3 loopy bow with no tails.
i dont measure them becos i really feel uneasy when i fold them.
1.take the tip and heat seal.

2.start a fold, every new fold goes back of the bow. It is like you are rolling your ribbon.

3.End your 3rd loop on the front. tie them using your thread.

4.Now flip the bow becos the front where you ended your wings becomes back side the bow.

FINAL BOW

1.take your lined alligator clip.

2. put glue on the center knot of your first tulle bow attach them to your clip.(just use you thumb and index finger to keep away the tulles)

3. Now use the second tulle bow and attach them on the top of the first tulle.
(the reason i used two tulle bows are becos when i tie everything into one, i am not able to bring the color of the tulle, Also by this way the tulle looks more fluffy on the front)
4. Use your 3/8 inch grosgrain to make a flat center tie.

The bow is ready.
I used a pink rhine stone on top to give a sparkle look!
